We took the 8 hour journey up to Aintree racecourse with Taboo (Ikhtira). What a lovely location, arena and stables. Taboo (Ikhtira) was placed 6th in her HOYS mare class and we were very pleased with her.
Sadly, I had to make the horrible decision to have my first pony put to sleep today. Runnymead Cola, Dinky to his friends, was like my best friend. He taught me to ride and made me a very good rider as he was a little monster like Shetlands can be. He was in the family all his life - 30 years of time in one family is good. (Was in the family longer then me.) He will be missed so much here - the yard will not be the same without him. RIP my liitle Gem!
The Picture below shows Dinky with me at twelve months old, my Mum and Emily holding him.
Yehudi did us very proud in his first open mixed class at Devon and got a very good 6th.
Yehudi does it again with a win in the novice ridden geldings class at Wales and West.
Ozzie to his friends, our Welsh sec A, who has been with us since he was 5 months old has gone off to his new home to be used as a lead rein first ridden pony and I wish good luck to his new family. he will be missed lots by us all here.
We took Taboo to our Riding Clubs dressage to qualify her for the Novice test. She did a lovely test with 68% and came 4th and has qualified for the championships in October.
Yehudi, who has come to us on loan from Linda McFayden (LMA Arabians) went out under the saddle for the 1st time on Sunday in the Novice ridden Gelding class. He went on to win it. I would like to thank Linda and her family for letting him come to us to be part of our team. Let's hope we keep it going.

Linda Mcfayden of LMA Arabians who owners the lovely Yehudi has given me another one of her lovely team Shamarillo el Shaklan aka ruppy. He is a 4 year old Gelding with all the white socks again. He is being backed over the next winter months and should be out in the novice ridden classes and may be see me with my running shoes on to do some inhand with him. Watch out for 8 white socks out next year!
We Finished the show season off by going to the UK gold arab show at the hand and what lovely weather we had Yehudi went very well for his last show and did us provide again by winning his Novice ridden Gelding class. A ncie way to finish our novice season off. We are lucky enough for Yehudi to be staying with us for next year to start his open season with us. We are now working on our affilatated dressage for the winter getting him ready for the show season next year.
